Good Afternoon All,

First of all HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Our Planning and Development Department is about to go through some changes and I would like some input please. We have a hard time keeping people in the Municipal Development Clerk position. This position is basically data entry, and administration for the department. Currently doing a ton of scanning to digitize out land files.

Back in 2007 there were three full time positions in the Planning and Development Department plus our Director
Land Use and Compliance clerk
Planning and Development Coordinator
Municipal Development Clerk

In 2019 we eliminated the Land Use and Compliance Clerk and dispersed the duties between the remaining two positions, but with COVID and things slowing down even more our Municipal Development Clerk has chose to move on due to not being busy enough.

Can you please give me an example of what your Planning and Development Departments look like and maybe even email me copies of your Job Descriptions please??? ksorochan@vegreville.com
