Does anyone allow hobby bee keeping in any residential zoned lands? Or has anyone done research on this topic, presented it to council and had it decided to not allow it.

We’ve had a couple folks put up a hive or two only to be complained about by a neighbour and then having to relocate the hive as it is considered intensive agriculture and it’s only allowed on ag zoned lands. One of the bee owners would like us to change our rules. I’d like any information either way if there is any out there. Feel free to email me.
