The County of Newell allows accessory buildings under 100 ft2 to exist without the benefit of a Development permit or Building permit which I think is pretty standard. We do have a site coverage maximum in most of our land use districts but we have many acreage residential parcels that are close to 2 acres in size. Therefore, this allows the landowner to put up 15 sheds under 100 ft2 which looks terrible in an acreage residential area and can be shabby looking if they are moved in sheds as well.
Does anyone have a limit on how many 100 ft2 sheds are allowed on a parcel in their LUB? If so, how is it written and is it for all land districts?
