Hello everyone,
I had a question as to how everyone deals with accessory structures that are non-conforming under the Building Code (ie. snow loads)? For example, COSTCO, Home Depot and other Hardware Stores in Alberta sell accessory structures such as Gazebos, Sheds, etc. that do not meet Alberta Safety Codes standards. Can you tell me how everyone is dealing with this? Do you issue a DP and refuse a BP? Do you require engineering to issue any permits at all? Any assistance on this matter is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Renée Hartling
