How do you deal with change of tenancy. Say a lumber retail store is at a location and sells to another lumber retail store. Everything is the same, the use, the location etc. do you issue a Tenancy Permit to reflect that the new company has a permit allowing him to operate out of that location under the new Business Name and Owner or do you just rely on the Business License? The issue is when I go to pull my land file to see what was the last Use and DP issued on this location I want to see the current use to see if a new DP must be issued and our business licenses are not kept with our land files.
