I had a question come up at our council meeting last night.

One of the councillors was wondering if any municipalities have a requirement for upkeep for a certain amount of time following landscaping on new developments.

Example: Joe builds a new house and finally gets around to landscaping it, and the grass or another planting dies within a couple of years.

Does your municipality have a requirement that Joe would need to replant the grass etc. to meet the requirements for landscaping of the property under your Land Use Bylaw?
